Yes. The fair weather friend phenomenon was the hardest to acknowledge and accept. Well said.
“If you have the misfortune to stop functioning adequately in this society, you will find there is very little to connect to. Even if you have a family that supports you, you are not guaranteed an empathetic ear. The shoulders to cry on are always pretty busy, especially if they have to pick up your slack. Empathy requires understanding, and as far as mystery illnesses go that’s, by definition, not going to be in rich supply.”
I actually went through a lot of this. You described my feelings very well. Even the "overachiever" and "crazy" labels described me to a tee.
The act of going from recluse to full time college was brutal and honestly although I graduated I'm not sure I'd call the experience good.
The Brain Energy Theory of mental illness along with a plan I essentially invented for healing helped me. I've contemplated publishing/blogging about my journey to mental and physical health but I don't currently have a job and I hate people who give advice that aren't successful. If you want to hear my process let me know. It's actually very simple.
I also saw you are using transcranial magnetic stimulation. (I might be wrong.) I used neurofeedback. Some athletes have used it as well. It's very gentle and helped me.
Yes!!! I like that, it's simple, but clearly shows to me that you had a journey. I think I once said somewhere that first came back my desire to be a mom which was primal then my desire to write, and then my desire to work. Even though I wasn't totally healed.

I would love it. And I think that sounds successful.
Story telling always narrates from this certain point that's pretty unrelatable to me but that's not real life.
I described it here:

That's awesome
Well I'm glad we are here fighting the good fight. I hope the worst suffering is over.
That would be nice
